Terms of service.
The rules that govern a LiftWork engagement. Written in plain language, to be replaced by a signed statement of work before any paid engagement begins.
Scope
These terms apply to any use of the LiftWork website and to any discovery call, proposal, or preparatory conversation conducted before a signed statement of work is in place.
A paid engagement is always governed by a signed statement of work that supersedes these terms for anything covered in it. Where the statement of work is silent, these terms apply.
Services
LiftWork delivers co-creation workshops focused on agentic AI capability-building. One company per engagement. Sessions are founder-led, delivered remotely, and scoped module-by-module during the intake conversation.
The number of modules, session duration, and total engagement length are proposed at intake and priced per engagement. LiftWork does not offer retainers, ongoing support contracts, managed services, or software licences.
Intellectual property
The artifacts your team builds during a workshop — assistants, automations, prompts, templates, internal documentation — belong to you. They are yours to use, modify, share internally, and deploy on your own infrastructure without any further obligation to LiftWork.
Curriculum materials, facilitator guides, exercises, frameworks, and the LiftWork name and marks remain the intellectual property of LiftWork and may not be reproduced, resold, or repackaged without prior written permission.
Fees and payment
Fees are quoted per engagement, in euro, and stated in the signed statement of work. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are issued on signature with payment due within 30 days.
- VAT is applied where required by the jurisdiction of the client and LiftWork's registered place of business.
- Travel, accommodation, or venue costs are not included in the standard quote and would be itemised only if in-person sessions were agreed in writing.
- Late payments may accrue statutory interest at the rate applicable under Directive 2011/7/EU on combating late payment in commercial transactions.
- No part of the fee is contingent on outcomes unless explicitly stated in the statement of work.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Either party may reschedule a session by giving at least 10 business days' notice at no cost. Cancellations within 10 business days of a scheduled session may be charged at up to 50 per cent of the session fee to reflect reserved preparation and facilitation time.
If LiftWork cancels or is unable to deliver a scheduled session for any reason, affected sessions are either rescheduled at no additional cost or refunded pro-rata, at your discretion.
Confidentiality
Any non-public information shared with LiftWork during scoping or delivery — operational processes, internal data, named individuals, strategic context — is treated as confidential and not disclosed to third parties without your prior written consent.
LiftWork may reference the engagement in anonymised form — industry, general use case, order of magnitude of outcome — in marketing materials, unless the statement of work specifies otherwise.
Limitation of liability
LiftWork delivers coaching and capability-building. The artifacts built during workshops are the result of your team's work, decisions, and production integration — and are owned and operated by your team after the engagement ends.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LiftWork's aggregate liability under any engagement is limited to the total fees paid by the client for that engagement in the 12 months preceding the claim. LiftWork is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the European Union member state in which LiftWork is registered. The specific jurisdiction will be stated in each statement of work once LiftWork's registered place of business is confirmed. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion will be submitted to the courts of that jurisdiction.
